Hospital Acquired Infections
Description
Automate the identification of hospital acquired infections to meet VA reporting requirements to reduce the reporting burden on health care provider staff. We are creating a generative AI pipeline that will read through structured and unstructured data to identify the patients with central lines who got an infection during an in-patient stay at a VA facility. There is no fine-tuning with this system. The patients identified are graded by humans and compared to known cases to assess accuracy.
