Expected benefit
Providers are able to identify patients that might benefit from additional support more quickly rather than reviewing entire notes as AI would highlight the parts that are relevant to the symptoms. This increases efficiency and saves cost as well. With providers more aware of patients' symptoms, they can spend less time and effort identifying patients that suffer from high symptom burdens. Providers would be more able to reach out and support the patients in need of support, therefore improving patient outcomes.
