Expected benefit
Improve patient outcomes, save cost, and increase efficiency: Information extracted by the system will be highlighted and shown within the original context for review by the coordinators, within health informatics tools currently in production. This will decrease the time for information gathering for coordinators and improve their efficiency. This information may also help identify Veterans with diagnoses of interest for review by the coordinator, allowing for additional resources to be activated to support the Veteran if they meet program criteria.
