Software Approval Agent
Description
All software requests currently go to the IT Service Desk, who then need to research the approval status, respond to the end user, and forward the request to other offices in order to process, respond, and route the request to the ISSO or Administrative staff. The agent will help route software requests directly to the correct parties based on the approval status of the requested software.
Detailed example
AI system provides user with the status of requested software (Approved for General Use, Approved but Requires Purchase, Approved for Special Use Only, Not Approved, Not Found in Catalog) and then generates a IT service request routed to the correct recipient(s) with the information necessary to process the request.
