Mapping Digital Infrastructure (MADI)
Description
The Mapping Digital Infrastructure (MADI) is a series of natural-language processing based tools that are designed to supplement the human-in-the-loop data exploration for CAS.
Detailed example
CAS is also working to now validate the use of MADI in generating future scenarios and hypothetical trends that extend beyond the explicit semantic knowledge of the input sources.
AI / analytics pattern
Natural Language Processing: AI that processes, interprets, and shares information in human language.
Automation level / stage
a) Pre-deployment – The use case is in a development or acquisition status.
Expected benefit
As CAS's Mapping and Synthesis teams work to identify transformational, wicked problems and potential solutions, MADI aims to supplement the information gathering and synthesis steps by clustering, theming, crawling, and summarizing publicly available data about emerging trends, needs, and capabilities.
